|Location||Hong Kong, Kowloon, Pentecostal Tabernacle|
|Cost||ca. 500,000 HKD|
|Note:||In Keys to the Kingdom this organ is identified as HKG1977a. That census number is now assigned to another instrument.|
The sixth of Kleuker’s Hong Kong installations, this organ in the Pentecostal Tabernacle on Waterloo Road is a II/13+Ped instrument. The project surveyed the organ briefly in 2003 (during the SARS crisis). The specs are:
|Swell (under expression)||
Quinte 1 1/3
Sequialtera II (double-draw 2 2/3′ and 1 3/5′)
|Couplers and Accessories||SW/Ped, GT/Ped, SW/GT, Tremolo (SW), Swell pedal|
This organ is quite difficult of access. In the Census (Appendix) of Keys to the Kingdom, it was listed as HKG1977a. That organ is in fact a slightly smaller, earlier 12-stop Kleuker in a different Pentecostal church (on Castle Road in Mid-Levels, Hong Kong) now numbered HKG1977a.
Our thanks to Derek Ng of the Hong Kong AGO Chapter for assisting with the identification and specs of these two instruments.
