Note:In Keys to the Kingdom this organ is identified as HKG1977a. That census number is now assigned to another instrument.

The sixth of Kleuker’s Hong Kong installations, this organ in the Pentecostal Tabernacle on Waterloo Road is a II/13+Ped instrument. The project surveyed the organ briefly in 2003 (during the SARS crisis). The specs are:

Spitzflöte 8′

Principal 4′

Waldflöte 2′

Mixtur III

Dulcian 8′

Swell (under expression)

Gedackt 8′

Rohrflöte 4′

Principal 2′

Quinte 1 1/3

Sequialtera II (double-draw 2 2/3′ and 1 3/5′)

Subbaß 16′

Gedackt 8′

Choralbaß 4′

Couplers and Accessories SW/Ped, GT/Ped, SW/GT, Tremolo (SW), Swell pedal

This organ is quite difficult of access. In the Census (Appendix) of Keys to the Kingdom, it was listed as HKG1977a. That organ is in fact a slightly smaller, earlier 12-stop Kleuker in a different Pentecostal church (on Castle Road in Mid-Levels, Hong Kong) now numbered HKG1977a.

Our thanks to Derek Ng of the Hong Kong AGO Chapter for assisting with the identification and specs of these two instruments.
