The smaller of two chamber organs built by Charles Joseph Paris for the Qianlong emperor (also see PEK1787a). Nothing is known of its specs, or other details of its construction or history.
The illustration here is a portrait of Qianlong in his study by the Jesuit painter, Giuseppe Castiglione (1688-1766).
