Updates for September 2024
30 September 2024Two new Rieger organs have been installed in Tongzhou, in the ‘Beijing Performing Arts Center’: PEK2024b, a 4-rank continuo organ, and PEK2024c, a seven-stop, two-manual practice organ. These complement the existing large IV/86 organ (PEK2024a) installed in the concert hall of the Center early this year.
The pages for HKG1979 and HKG2012 have been updated.
The Project discovered this month that the 2010 article, “Peace Pipes” by Sam Olluver, on The Project and Prof. Urrows’ research, has disappeared from both the Archive of the now Alibaba-controlled South China Morning Post, as well as the ‘Institutional Repository’ of Hong Kong Baptist University. As a response, we posted a scan of the article itself as an update on 9 September of this year.
